Since 1998, the SME Education Foundation has provided over $5.3 million dollars in financial aid through its various scholarship programs. The Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors, current undergraduates and masters or doctoral degree students pursuing degrees in manufacturing and related fields at two-year and four-year colleges.

The scholarship application for the 2012 Fall term closed February 1. Registration for the 2013/2014 academic year will begin October 1, 2012.

Registering for 2013/2014 Academic School Year: 

If you will be starting or attending college Fall term 2013, you may register at any time and we will automatically notify when the scholarship application opens. To ensure you receive the notification, please enter an e-mail  address will be valid in September, 2012 . SME Education Foundation online scholarship applications must be submitted by February 1 of each year.

Students in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade who qualify for the program n receive up to four years of college tuition to attend an eligible Indiana public or private college or niversity.
