Not only did FBHS win at the SkillsUSA Georgia state championship in April, it advanced to compete at the SkillsUSA national level in June.

Bloomsburg, Penn., Sept. 16, 2024 – Since the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year, the SME Education Foundation has empowered students at Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School (CMAVTS) with cutting-edge training in advanced manufacturing through its SME PRIME® program.
Zack Okun, a 19-year-old manufacturing engineering student at Arizona State University (ASU), opened an email a few months ago to find that he won an F. Brian Holmes Directors Scholarship from SME.
